Here is my go-to guide to lead you through the iconic landmarks, charming neighborhoods, and foodies experiences that Paris has to offer. This is the list I send to all of my friends who want to explore what Paris has to offer in a short trip and avoid (when possible) the touristy crowds.

Le Louvre (museum)
Musée d'Orsay (museum)
Musée Rodin (museum)
Palais Garnier (Opera open for visits)
Parvis des Droits de l'Homme Trocadéro (for a nice view of the Eiffel tower)
Les Jardins du Luxembourg (park - nice in spring and summer)
Rue de Rivoli (famous street with arches next to the Jardin des Tuileries)
Galeries Vivienne (cute little gallery, very Parisian)
Galerie Lafayette (famous shopping mall)
Printemps (mall)
Samaritaine (pretty shopping mall)
Bibliothèque nationale de France (old Parisian library and museum)
Walk around the area called Montmartre (stop at La Maison Rose for pictures)
Boats on la Seine (taxiboats for quick tour or Bateaux Mouches for dinner)
🥘 Where to eat:
Le Bouillon (French specialties for super affordable prices, there is usually a line so come early - there are more than one location)
La Felicità (Italian restaurant set in a warehouse)
Vaudeville (Typical french brasserie)
BREIZH Café Batignolles (crêpes, if you never had actual French savory crepes you have to go there)
Le Train Bleu (for breakfast and lunch)
L’Entrecôte de Paris or Le Relais de l'Entrecôte (If you like steak and fries this is usually a safe bet - there are more than one locations)

☕ Cafes and pastries:
Angelina (They have what they call a Mont Blanc, which is my all time favorite dessert. There can be a long line though, so try to go off-pick)
Café Jacquemart-André (It’s set in the mansion of this rich guy which they turned it into a museum and Cafe, it’s super pretty)
Carette (good hot chocolate, and great Instagramy setting if that's what you're into).
Maison Plume (Best gluten free and no-sugar added pastries in Paris).
